Yesterday, Depavalee Holiday (a Hindu holiday), walang magawa. I went out just for a walk in the malls and just look out on the facade designs esp with the once with curtainwall glass. Ngayon ko lang kasi natackle ang ganitong part sa work. So wala akong idea, research muna. Then napadaan na rin ako The Heeren sa Orchard Road. Natatandaan ko kasi may HMV rito, so since walang magawa, pasok ako. Lets see whats inside.
I found another "Rivermaya CD" sa shelf. Sa regional category. Meron din "shiela & the insect (pilipino indie band ito!). Nag-iisa na lang itong Rivermaya. Baka wala na nito sa Singapore, im not sure, unless mga ilang halughog pa sa record bars. Sana meron pa..for myself

Finding Rivermaya
A friend of mine ask me to buy a Rivermaya CD, the Asian Release for him. And if possible if I can find a Bamboo Asian Release album also. I realized how outdated I am with my favorate bands Rivermaya and Bamboo. Im a bit excited.Is there a Bamboo Asian Release album!!!?? I still dont have the last album but now they have an Asian Release!!!? How come I dont know this? And until today theres no confirmation about the album.
Last Saturday I tried to look for Rivermaya. It feels like going back to those days where I was a barhopper. I 'm always updated about OPM. I usually spend Friday night drunk, weekends on gigs, or just reading tons of news about OPM. I was digging the record bars just to find that Rivermaya CD. I dont own that CD. I gave mine as a gift in Grounders Christmas party 2yrs ago. Now Im eager to find one and for my friend Julius. Its was fun looking for that, because they just display a few, and that was 2 years ago. I will be very lucky if I could find one. But the possibility is very low. So I just take my time and enjoy.
A sales staff ask me if he could help me. ( wow! this is so rare in Singapore). And he really mean it. He dig the warehouse for me and he find this:

Not only that!. He also brought a Rivermaya 1st Album, Buhay, and Bamboo 1st album (wow! how these things came here?) By the way this store also sell used CD. Maybe a kababayan sold his CD here. I just took the YBSH album and went home. I was very happy co'z I find one even its not for me. I just mis the part of being an avid fan of OPM. Wasting time just to get updated.
